Finding essential talismans in Elden Ring can fundamentally change how your spellcasting character performs during high-stakes encounters. Among these vital items, the Radagon Icon stands out as a top-tier choice for sorcerers and incantation users seeking faster spell execution. Understanding how to navigate the complex structure of Raya Lucaria Academy ensures you can retrieve this valuable treasure without getting lost along the way.
Locating the Academy and the Debate Parlor
The journey to retrieve this legendary talisman begins within the central region of Liurnia of the Lakes at Raya Lucaria Academy. Players must first defeat the Red Wolf of Radagon boss inside the legacy dungeon to gain full access to the inner courtyard. After the battle, rest at the Debate Parlor Site of Grace before venturing outside to claim your reward.
Reaching the Secret Balcony Pathway
From the Debate Parlor Site of Grace, walk out through the large north doors into the open plaza. Immediately turn right, hugging the outer wall of the building, and jump over the iron railing onto a narrow ledge below. Head forward along this path until you locate a iron ladder attached to the side of the structure.
Claiming the Radagon Icon Talisman
Climb to the top of the ladder and carefully jump through one of the broken glass windows. Inside this upper balcony area, follow the floor around to the right side where a wooden treasure chest is situated. Opening this chest grants you the legendary Radagon Icon, which grants thirty virtual dexterity towards spellcasting speed.
Maximizing the Utility of Your New Talisman
This item is particularly effective for hybrid builds that rely on heavy incantations or devastating glintstone sorceries in fast-paced boss encounters. Combining this talisman with specialized equipment can help you easily reach the maximum cast speed cap in the game. Making the quick detour to retrieve it early in your playthough will pay off immensely throughout your journey across the Lands Between.
